In the HAI Human Anatomy Course, you will gain the knowledge to better visualize and understand the structures and physiological processes of the human body.  You will receive clear and thorough explanations for each of the major systems and organs of the body.  You will come to recognize the interior workings of the human body as a whole, covering the skeletal, muscular, circulatory, lymphatic, respiratory, nervous, digestive, urinary, reproductive, endocrine, and integumentary body systems.  In this foundational anatomy course, you will also learn about the major organs that are located in the head and neck, thoracic, abdominal, and upper and lower limb regions of the body, including their structure, function, and interrelationships.  Additionally, common illnesses associated with various systems and organs of the body are identified.  Learning is enhanced with more than five hundred full color illustrations, plates, and photographs covering the entire human body from head to toe. 

 

Upon completion of the Human Anatomy Course, you will be able to:
